SAVE THE DATE: Workshop ‘Challenges H2020 for international cooperation’

Europe for Business Ltd. (EFB) kindly informs you that an interesting Workshop entitled ‘Challenges H2020 for international cooperation’ will take place on 4th December, 2017 at the Nicoya Campus, Sede Regional Chorotega-UNA, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

 

The workshop aims to be useful and provide practical notions about the writing of grants, introducing participants in available and relevant international funding programs to attract capital to carry out research activities.

 

EFB has organized this workshop, with the collaboration of Mesoamerican Center for Sustainable Development in the Tropical Dry Forest (CEMEDE), Chorotega Regional Headquarters, and the National University of Costa Rica (UNA) and is primarily aimed at research and innovation working groups that have ideas innovators within the scientific community.

 

 

The ultimate goal is to become financially sustainable, and try to be less dependent on state / university funds, which are very restricted.

 

 

 

Our trainer, Mr. Leonardo Piccinetti (EFB), has years of experience in this sector, so he will be delighted to share examples of good practices in the writing of proposals with the attendees, as well as facilitating the debate around the following main issues: fundraising, Project Cycle Management (PCM), grant writing and project ideas.

 

The main objectives of the training are:
– Develop a strategy to obtain funds within their institutions and be financially sustainable.
– Prepare project proposals for any international cooperation program (H2020).
– Implement a standard approach to project management and development.

 

The training program focuses on Costa Rica (Societal Challenges 2 and 5, Marie Curie Actions) and is based on the concept of training for researchers and innovators to multiply their effect and impact.
