Europe for Business Ltd (EFB) is a strategic communication agency specializing in science communication for European research and innovation projects. Our mission is to enhance the visibility and impact of scientific results by delivering high-quality dissemination and communication services.
We are a young, multicultural, and multilingual team of professionals—including graphic designers, web developers, communication experts, journalists, audiovisual producers, and project managers—working across Europe and globally, with a particular focus on the Middle East and Latin America.

As a Communication Intern at EFB, you will support the delivery of communication strategies for ongoing EU projects. You will gain hands-on experience in science communication, stakeholder engagement, digital media, and project dissemination.
Drafting press releases, articles, and newsletters
Liaising with journalists and distributing communication materials
Updating press and media contact databases
Assisting in the organization of project events, workshops, and press conferences
Maintaining project websites and social media platforms
Supporting the production of communication materials and project reports
Conducting interviews with researchers and translating science into accessible stories
Supporting Project Managers in communication-related tasks
Contributing to the drafting of new communication proposals for EU calls (e.g., Horizon Europe)
Native-level or excellent written and spoken English
Academic background in communication, journalism, media, or related fields
Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and within a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Dynamic, proactive attitude and strong organizational skills
Knowledge of or experience with EU-funded projects
Working knowledge of a second language (preferably Spanish or French)
Familiarity with new media, social media strategy, or web design (WordPress, Canva, etc.)
Practical experience in EU project communication and science dissemination
Exposure to international collaboration and EU policy frameworks
Mentoring and feedback from experienced communication professionals
Access to EFB’s extensive European network of researchers, institutions, and media contacts
A portfolio of writing samples and communication products developed during the internship
